How do I keep the CD from automatically starting when I put a CD in the CD player? |
To prevent the CD from "AutoPlaying", just hold down the SHIFT key while the CD is loading. |
What's FAQ mean? |
F.A.Q. stands for Frequently Asked Questions. |
My computer has two types of memory, what is the difference? |
There's RAM (Random Access Memory) and Diskspace. They're often measured the same way. The way I think about it is that the RAM is like the your own memory, it fast and convienent. Diskspace is like all the books and magazines that you own, there's a lot more of it, but it takes longer to find it, and when you do find it, you have to put it in your head's memory before you can use it. |
My screen has the words "Safe Mode" in the four corners and all the colors are wrong. What's happening? |
Windows starts in "Safe Mode" if, for some reason, it couldn't start correctly last time it was turned on. If you accidentally turned on the computer and then turned it off again before it finished starting, all you need to do is tell the computer to restart. Otherwise, it means that windows can't find the files it needs to operate correctly or a part inside the computer has changes or is missing. |
